Itinerary

  • 01Arrival: 15 -20 Minute drive (Airport to Hotel) 15 -20 Minute drive. Adventure International Trekking's representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel
  • 02Kathmandu sight-seeing tour & Trekking preparation Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. After completed city tour In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members. Adventure International Trekking briefs you regarding your trek as well as provides you opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding your upcoming trekking to Everest Base Camp with gokyo Lake trekking. Night stay in Kathmandu.
  • 03Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding 35 minutes flight and 3-4 hours Hike Early morning transfer you to Tribhuvan Airport for a Twin Otter flight to Lukla that takes about 35 to 40 minutes. Our trekking crew at Lukla will receive you. After final preparations, the trekking starts passing Chaurikharka village, and makes a descent towards the Dudhkosi Ghat (2,530 meters). The trail follows the precise bank of the Dudhkosi River until camp at Phakding is reached. This first day is short hike as acclimatization reasons. Lunch will be served on the way. Walking distance is approximately 3-4 hours to Phakding (2,650 m/8,692 ft.)
  • 04Phakding to Namche Bazzar 5-6 hours Hike Follow the Bhote Koshi through forest and pasture land, along a valley dotted with small Sherpa settlements. Cross the Bhote Koshi and climb steeply along switch-backing trail to large Sherpa village, after crossing suspension Bridge, 30 minutes later enjoy views of Everest (8,848 m) and Lhoste (8,511 m) come into sight. This prosperous town is the largest Khumbu. A traditional trading center, the Bazaar is held every Saturday. The goods on display are available. Thamserku ( 6,648 m) and Kwangde RI (6,224 m) become visible to the east and west, and the sacred mountain Khumbila (5707m) dominates the skyline to the north behind the village. 6 hours. Night stay at Namche Bazzar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 05Namche Bazzar Acclimatize full day explore around Rest and acclimatization at Namche Bazaar. A pleasant day can be spent exploring the village, talking to the Sherpas and marveling at the incredible scenery. A hike to the Everest view hotel for excellent lunch with Everest view. The rest day is intended for acclimatization purpose. Night stay at Namche Bazzar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 06Namche Bazzar-Tengboche 4-5 hours Hike Start gradually up and flat trails & slightly descending Edge of Dudhkoshi. Then a steep ascend will bring you to the famous Tengboche Gompa via many rhododendron forest and watching many Wild Goats (Thars)will be scrolled the hills in the background of Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest and other peaks. Tengboche for Night Stop (3,920 m/12,857 ft.)
  • 07Tengboche to Dingboche 4-5 hours Hike Today your journey is a slightly descent through lush forest, before the gradual climb up to the valleys highest year round settlement of Pangboche . Continue ascending around afternoon through alpine meadows and yak herds, eventually reaching Dingboche for Night stop(4,210 m./13,808 ft.)
  • 08Dingboche an acclimatization day at Dingboche. There is a couple of side-trip planned from Dingboche, or you can rest. The side trip will wind up the valley to Chhukung for sensational views. look around and get best panorama mountain views. Night stop at Dingboche (4,210 m./13,808 ft.)
  • 09Dingboche to Lobuche 6-7 hours Hike Today is a climb via Duglha a small tea house salter there are stunning views of Tawachee peakand Cholatse peak. The trail goesagain Duglha directly up to the Khumbu Glacier for an hour, then left into the memorial area before reaching the village of Lubuche by this stage the effects of the altitude will be kicking in and you can expect colder night at Lobuche (4,910 m/ 16,104 ft.)
  • 10Lobuche to Gorakshep: 3-4 Hours Hike & After Lunch Explore Kalapatter After breakfasts start your usual day gradual climb through view of many mountains as well as khumbu Glaciers on the way you will cross several side moraines to Gorakshep Short but high altitude walk. After your lunch, you will climb to Kalapatter for 2 hours up to see beautiful sunset view over Everest from Kalapatter (5,550 m/18,204 ft.) get down for night stop at Gorekshep( 5,210 m/17,088 ft.)
  • 11Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp - Gorekshep 5-6 hours Hike Early start is essential with your pack lunch for EBC. Travel along the Khumbu glacier through jumbled moraine and shattered rock. Reach Everest Base Camp enjoy few hours and trek back to Gorekshep( 5,210 m/17,088 ft.)
  • 12Gorakshep to Dzong La 5-6 Hours Hike We'll wake before dawn today to trek towards Kalapathar (It means BLACK ROCK) for a fiery, glorious sunrise over Mt. Everest. The day's first light will illuminate your spectacular view of Nuptse, Changtse and Lhotse.This may be, of the whole journey, your most opportune moment to snap amazing pictures of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Afterwards, it’s back down to Lobuche and onward hike to Dzongla(4,845 m/15,892 ft)
  • 13Dzongla to Chola La Pass - Thang- na 7-8 hours Hike This could be the most challenging and a Exciting day of your trek as you go over the pass. Fortunately, having already visited Everest Base Camp , Kalapatter so you should be getting used to high altitude and feeling stronger. If the weather is bad crossing the pass can be difficult. Crampons are not normally used but micro spores can be helpful if the weather is at all bad. It’s a tough climb to the top but the amazing views more than make up for it and trails down to Thang- Na for night stop(4,820 m/15,809 ft.)
  • 14Thang-Na to Gokyo Lake 3-4 hours Hike and explore We continue down into the Gokyo Valley and cross the Ngozumpa glacier the longer glacier in this part of the Himalayas and an impressive sight. We should reach Gokyo by lunch. After lunch you should have time to climb up to Gokyo Ri for best parallel views of Mt. Everest , Nuptse, lhotse as well as other several peaks on panorama hike down to Gokyo for Night(4,750 m/15,580 ft.)
  • 15Gokyo to Dole 5-6 hours Hike The day begins retracing the exact route departing from the lakes and through the moraines of Ngozumba glaciers. You’ll come across several stone chortens along the way. The splendid views of Thamserku and Kangtega will accompany you on the way down from Gokyo Valley. You’ll reach Dole for night Stop at Dole (4,039 m/13,247 ft.)
  • 16Dole to Namche Bazzar 5-6 hours Hike The day begins with a steep downhill toward Phortse Tenga. It takes approximately one and a half hours to reach Phortse Tenga from Dole. Then, the trail ascends steeply from Phortse Tenga up to the village of Mongla. get lunch break and the trail descends towards Kyangjuma before reaching the Sherpa Capital at Namche Bazaar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 17Namche Bazzar to Lukla 6-7 hours Hike After breakfast we depart Monjo and continue our descent along the Dudh Kosi, before making a final ascent to reach the Phakding village by mid afternoon for Lunch. We trek back to Lukla along the same trail, although it always looks different coming from the opposite direction on arrival in Lukla we will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of our trek. Trek concludes. Night stay at Lukla (2,850 m/9,348 ft.)
  • 18Lukla to Kathmandu 35 minutes flight We fly out of Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning about 35- 40 minute, and taking off is just as exciting as flying in. Transfer into your hotel. O/N Hotel in Kathmandu.
  • 19Departure to airport or start your next destination. You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internet to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onward to your next destination.
